Long story, but we are across servers at or host right now. If we can finish the move to the new server I saw stuff in the control panel for automated backups.

I think that might be a good start. But then I would want something to pick up the data from there and back it up to a different physical location.

Sorry the update was a bear. Unfortunately historically 5NINES has had a less than optimal shared hosting service. They recently moved to a better platform called whm/cpanel that has way better user interface and backup features. I used to work for 5NINES which is why they give free hosting to the club. They were quite helpful in getting back what we got. I think things will be better on the new server. Just got to finish the move.
For now I have been making daily personal backups of SMF. That will get old soon.
