Looking for a rigid 29er frame (and fork?) for commuter project. Something like an old Kona Unit, Surly KM, Raleigh XXIX, GT Peace 9r, or Trek frame would be perfect. Steel, aluminum, scandium, whatever.
Requirements:
Size S/M. 16"-17.5"
29er
Disc brake
Single speedable (EBB, BB30, Sliders)
Fender mounts a plus
Dents, scratches, welds, frame repairs encouraged. Bike will be locked up downtown/campus so it shouldn't be too attractive to thieves.
Just a frame would be good or if someone has a rigid steel fork to go with it even better. I can probably round up a fork if need be.
Price range: approx $100 but flexible depending on what you have
