Please remember there's no crossing ski jump outruns at Blackhawk and signs are there stating that. I've taken another round of grief because some bike riders evidently broke that rule. Remember that skiers jump year-round and what looks like some lawn is carefully tended so jumpers can land safely and smoothly.
Annual renewal for ski season has web-based registration closed but you can download the form and send $25 or $50 for individual or family membership. It is late in the season but most years we have a Thanksgiving Day morning ride so you'll certainly get your money's worth. Especially if you ride what's just been completed and will continue. You can drive several hours to the UP or MN or several minutes to Blackhawk for that sort of ride.
