Hi,
We have approval to expand the pump track by 50% and add two new connections with rest of the bike park. This is a big improvement in safety (bikes off of the road), one of our entrances will have neat design and the plan for pump track expansion is awesome.
We have several truck loads of recycled dirt available.
The new beginner skills area is cleared and we have an Eagle Scout working on a TTF project for the area. This project will be using hardwoods harvested and milled on Middleton public lands.
The city is fixing drainage problems and the construction may begin as early as this week.
We have permission to use more of the property as well as have wood and rock available to build trials riding features.
The big jumps will continue to develop but the big push this year is to accommodate more riders. Our work days start back to back this Saturday and Sunday.
Please consider 2012 the year to polish the bike park and polish your riding skills at the same time.
