I rode this afternoon, trails were still pretty slick. This last snow just didn't set up..... I laid first tracks on a grip of the trails. I really think a comb would help.

You must have been slightly narrower track I was following, thanks for pointing out all the slick spots
I found the flat creekside trails to be really sketchy ice with a dusting of snow but after crossing the bridge over to the classic trail it was all good aside from the occasional icy corner to keep you on your toes (or butt).

You riding Knards? Regardless of tires or pressures it was slick today, with a 1.5'' of snow on top of ice it was hard to really push any of the corners. I did go down once tho.... 8)

I'm on a Bud/Lou combo, I think Mike (one of the grooming crew) was on the Knards.

I'm out of town through the weekend. I know Mike is really busy as well. Have not heard from anybody else.
I hear we got about 3". Not sure if it would be worth grooming?

my guess is there's enough to ride but not enough to groom. Ground should be frozen enough either way.

I think the Rokon tires would damage the trail... I hit mud in spots today moving snow for
my chickens.

Please don't try riding at CamRock unless it is dark and below freezing. There are quite a few bare spots with no snow, and the ground no longer has frost in it.
With the sun today you would most definitely be doing damage.
