Up for sale is a 2006 Trek Project One Fuel EX. I bought it used about two months ago, and as the story goes it was formerly owned by a Madison couple who mainly rode fire roads, gravel paths, etc.
I rode it twice; once at HPT in La Crosse, once on a local walking path near my house when I brought it home. The frame barely shows any wear. Had it not been for the 26" wheels it could pass as something much newer. That's how good of a condition it is in.
Almost immediately after purchasing the bike I replaced the stem and pedals. I'll include both stems and the new pedals. You'll also get a very unique looking bike with a top of the line part spec (for its time) that's very capable as a cross-country trail bike.
