The bridge has been been blocked off, and a temporary bypass has been put in, which was basically cutting through 4ft tall stinging nettle and throwing larger rocks out of the crossing area. It's not perfect, and it's bound to look different after the next big rainfall, but at a minimum there is a place to cross now. Walk it if you need to, but as far as bike-water crossings go, this isn't all that technical.
At this point we're not sure what is going to happen with the bridge. Stay tuned!
