Please do not ride the trails at Sheehan Park.
The city has asked us to cease use of the mountain bike trails at Sheehan Park until they have time to review the existing use and complaints from local residents. We are currently working with the city, the parks department and the parks commission to get the trails open again. In the meantime, we ask that you be patient and not use the mountain bike trails at Sheehan Park.
If you live in Sun Prairie, you might consider sending a polite message to your alder mentioning how much you appreciate the trails, how often you use them and how much you hope to enjoy them again. If you do not live in Sun Prairie, please hold off on sending any notifications until a later time. We'd like to keep this discussion local for now.
