in Blackhawk (Moderator: Patrick Remington)

Is it possible to get to the BH trails without going trough the Pleasant View trails (parking somewhere). I’m looking for some beginner trails to do with my son. We did the PV trails but Slice was a bit more challenging then he cared for. And that seems to be the path to BH. I’ve looked on google maps and the chalet area seems to have a locked gate. 

The gate to the east chalet is open most of the time. There's room to park a car or two at the gate if you are worried about getting locked in.

Blackhawk is ideal for kids and families and the new skills building trail project is starting now. Summer only memberships are available now and some of the kids lesson and team programs still have availability this summer. Blackhawk and Pope Farm Conservancy across the road host a great summer kids program too.
